Milkman Milk Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients:

  • For Dough:
    • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
    • 3 tbsp sugar
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1 package instant yeast
    • 1/2 cup water
    • 1/4 cup Milkman Milk (reconstituted)
    • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
    • 1 large egg
  • For Filling:
    • 1/2 cup brown sugar
    • 2 1/2 tbsp ground cinnamon
    • 1/4 cup softened butter
  • For Icing:
    • 1 cup powdered sugar
    • 1-2 tbsp Milkman Milk (reconstituted)
    • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  2. Heat water, Milkman Milk, and butter until warm (but not hot). Add to flour mixture with egg.
  3. Knead dough until it's smooth, then let rise until doubled.
  4. Roll out dough, spread with butter, and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Roll up dough and cut into rolls. Place in a baking dish and let rise again.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes.
  7. For icing, mix powdered sugar, Milkman Milk, and vanilla. Drizzle over warm rolls.
